Walk+Roll to School

Join us for a relaxed pace walk, bike or roll to school!

Walk+Roll to School provides our students with an opportunity to walk or bike to school together. We start from four locations and leave at different times:

  1. Miraflores Apartments - leaves at 8:10 a.m.

  2. Berkeley/Houghton Intersection: leaves at 8:25 a.m.

  3. Kenton Park (Playground)- leaves at 8:10 a.m.

  4. Columbia Park (Playground) - leaves at 8:25 a.m.

Choose the location that is most convenient for you and share with others who might be interested in coming along.

We’ve got a special event planned for November 14, 2025!

We’ll be joining other schools across our country for the Ruby Bridges Walk to School.

On November 14, we are participating in the annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. This will be an opportunity to walk to school together in honor of civil rights icon, Ruby Bridges, who integrated an all-white school in New Orleans in 1960. The day encourages students to walk to school and engage in dialogues about activism, anti-racism, and anti-bullying. We start from the Miraflores Apartments, Berkeley/Houghton intersection, Kenton Park, and Columbia Park at different times (see above times). Please wear purple.
