Ridwell Plastic Film Collection

We have the chance to keep plastic film out of landfills! Please bring clean and dry plastic film like ziplock bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and more to school from March 31st to May 1st.

Drop off locations: Classroom 101 (Karina) and Classroom 254 (Acuña)

Bottle Drop Collection

Donate cans and bottles to support César Chávez PTA. Funds collected will include supporting the Staff Lounge and any funds raised from April 15 – 26, 2026, Bottle Drop will match 20%!

How to donate:

1. Drop off cans and bottles in the cafeteria!

2. Ask us for a blue bag! Email: treasurer@cesarchavezpta.org or pick one up in the main office.

Walk+Roll to School (and donuts!)

Join us as we walk, roll, and skate to school! Meet us at one of the routes:

• Miraflores Apartment: Leaves at 8:10 AM

• Berkeley/Houghton Intersection: Leaves at 8:25 AM

• Northgate Park (Geneva/Fessenden): Leaves at 8:10 AM

• Columbia Park: Leaves at 8:10 AM

• Charles Jordan Community Center: Leaves at 8:20 AM

• McCoy Park: Leaves at 8:30 AM

School Beautification & Plant Giveaway!

Join Chávez School families and friends as we pull ivy, pick up garbage, take a Garden Club Tour, and learn about plants. We’ll also be giving out veggie starts!

How to Join:

1. Show up at 9AM with enthusiasm to beautify our school! We will meet by the playground with all the supplies.
