Teacher Grants
As a result of generous and ongoing support from our school community, the César Chávez PTA is able to offer a reimbursement grant up to $170 per certified teacher, counselor, librarian, and specialist at César Chávez K-8 for the 2025-26 school year.
How does it work?
Fill out our online form and include all receipts. Email our Treasurer at treasurer@cesarchavezpta.org for a link to the form.

What kinds of things can I buy?
Books
Classroom supplies
Furniture
Subscriptions for online learning tools for your students, and
Just about anything that enhances the learning experience for your students. If you can demonstrate how your purchase helps students in your classroom, you can probably get reimbursed for it.
Is there anything I can’t buy?
The PTA cannot reimburse you for gift cards, tips, personal items, or food.
What if I don’t want to spend all $170 at once?
Feel free to request reimbursement as you purchase items. We’ll keep track, and will reimburse you quarterly for up to $170 in allowable expenses across the entire 2026-26 school year.
When will I get reimbursed?
Checks will be dispersed 4 times throughout the school year: November, February, April, and June. and all reimbursement grant requests MUST be submitted by June 19th, 2026 for reimbursement.
