We are dedicated to promoting the health, well-being, and educational success of all students at our school.

Events & Announcements

  • Monthly Meetings

The PTA meets the second Tuesday of every month (except for January, April, and June) from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in M101 (portables). Childcare, dinner, and Spanish translation services are provided.

  • Let Us Rise

We love our school and want every child in our school to thrive. That’s why we’re advocating for no budget cuts during the 2025-26 school year and for a school redesign. Currently, Chávez supports 4 unique programs in our school, more than any other school in PPS. Our students deserve better!

  • Walk+Roll to School

Join us on Wednesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 14th for our final two Walk+Roll events for the school year! We'll start from three locations and leave at different times. Choose a starting location that works best for you!

Join us in supporting the basic needs of our students!

Over the past few months, our school has been impacted by the large-scale federal funding cuts that have taken place. For example, César Chávez will lose nearly $120,000 in Title I funds during the 2025-26 school year. Additionally, some of the nonprofit organizations serving our school have lost their funding this school year, leaving our community to scramble for basic resources. We have stepped up to help fill many of the funding gaps, but we need support from our broader community to make sure we can continue providing the most basic needs to our students to help them grow and learn.
